If you’re a member, Rapid Response personnel will monitor the Ring camera and doorbell feeds you specify, responding to motion alerts and implementing interventions such as triggering sirens and lights, using two-way talk features, and even dispatching emergency services if they believe it’s necessary. Essentially, through a relationship with monitoring business Rapid Response, this offers an additional degree of inspection in terms of expert monitoring. The company is also creating a Pro tier of its subscription product ($20/month), which will provide you access to Eero’s cellular backup service as well as expert monitoring and (yet another synergy!) ad blocking, content filtering, and threat security services for your home internet.Ī new distinct subscription service dubbed Virtual Security Guard, which tries to emulate the benefits of having an onsite security guard, is not to be confused with its new Pro tier membership (which is offered alongside its previous, $10/month option). It works with motion sensors, door and window sensors, fire and moisture sensors, and more, just like Ring’s prior alarm products. Ring debuts ‘Virtual Security Guard,’ new Pro alarm System and Smarter Motion alerts including package delivery An eero 6 extender will add 1,500 square feet of Wi-Fi network coverage.

You can add a variety of other features and capabilities, including a range extender and cam batteries, in packages available from 239.99 up to 429.99. The Alarm Pro base station also contains a microSD card slot that can hold up to 64GB of data, allowing you to save video from your linked Ring cameras and doorbells locally. The Alarm Pro Base Station is available for 249.99 as of early 2022. Ring’s Power Pack accessories can also be connected to the base station to keep the internet going in the event of a power outage. Ring Alarm pro also features a backup internet connection 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, due to 3GB of complimentary cellular data per month, with additional data available for $3 per GB. The base station also functions as a mesh-capable Wi-Fi 6 router for connecting to other Eero gear (which is some nice consumer brand synergy for another Amazon acquisition). Ring Alarm Pro is an improved home security system that incorporates an Eero-integrated base station. They also introduced a new service called ‘Virtual Security Guard,’ which basically keeps a watch on your Ring feeds in your absence, and they’re upgrading alerts on their existing doorbells and cameras with improved event identification. I appreciate any and all feedback. This year, Ring is only a small part of Amazon’s annual gadgets and services event, but it’s bringing a lot of new features, including a new Pro Alarm suite with redesigned hardware and integrated Eero Wi-Fi 6 router capabilities.

I'm using a Samsung Galaxy s 22 Ultra which is on Android 12.0. I have also provided a 5-minute screen record to the Traeger team showing setup screens on my mobile device along with error messages. They've asked me to act as a beta tester while their tech folks and eeros tech folks figure out where the issues are. Per Traeger customer support, there are no other known customers with the same configuration and associated issues.

I have tried multiple set up modifications and have also used previous forum posts where users were able to successfully connect a standalone eero router with Wi-Fire after configuring a static DNS, turning off ipv6, disabling all eero security, etc. I have been on the phone multiple times with both Ring customer support and eero customer support.

Somehow, the grill is showing up on my eero app as a previously connected device. Now, the setup fails shortly after the grill sends my network information to the Traeger cloud. Are there any other forum members who are using a Ring Alarm Pro Base Station with an integrated eero 6 router and have had connectivity issues with the Traeger Wi-Fire? I have an Ironwood 885 and have successfully connected the grill with a different network environment.
